MESSAGE FROM THE STATE
DIRECTOR:
WELCOME to our official webpage. I am
Norman D. Walker
(Coach), The Arkansas State Director for MUFON. From this site
you will be able to get state contact information, how to report a
UFO, ongoing investigations, coming up meetings and events, news,
links to other related and useful sites, and a guestbook. As
your new State Director I want to encourage you to be a part of our
Arkansas MUFON Team.
This
Team is dedicated to building the State in quality investigation,
promoting research, and education. This will be done through
Section Development throughout the State. Each section will
help bring the goals to a local level. Your comments and
suggestions are always welcomed and I thank everyone that has
contributed in the past to this effort. Our Mission is listed
below, as well as State Officers and new Section Directors.
MISSION:
1.INVESTIGATE UFO SIGHTINGS and collect the data in the MUFON
database for use by researchers worldwide.
2.PROMOTE RESEARCH ON UFOs to discover the true nature of the
phenomenon, with an eye to scientific break throughs and improving
life on our planet.
3.EDUCATE THE PUBLIC on the UFO phenomenon and its potential impact
on society.

WEST CENTRAL ARKANSAS SECTION
The West Central Section of
Arkansas MUFON will meet the first Saturday of each month from 10:00
AM - 12:00 PM at the
Fort Smith Public Library, Overflow
Meeting Room, 3201 Rogers Avenue, Fort Smith, AR.
CENTRAL ARKANSAS SECTION - New
Location
The Central
Section of Arkansas MUFON will
meet on the second Saturday of each month from 10:30 AM -12:30
PM at the
Maumelle Public Library,10
Lake Point Drive, Maumelle, AR 72113.
NORTHWEST ARKANSAS SECTION
The Northwest Section of
Arkansas MUFON will meet the fourth Saturday of each month from
10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the
Fayetteville Public Library,
Ann Henry Board Room, 401 West Mountain, Fayetteville, AR.
